The one thing they all have in common is that they seek to challenge the status quo, are imaginative and have the ability to offer a fresh perspective.Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd in Geneva is looking for a candidate to fulfil the following mission statement:IT SUPPORT SPECIALISTYOUR MISSION: Provide IT support to Lombard Odier users in EMEA offices and VIP support worldwide.Manage the support of VIP users and EMEA offices as well as maintenance of IT Systems.Identify areas of improvement and report together with recommended solutions.Software Support: Windows 10 and Mac OS;Microsoft Office 2016 and above;Android and iOS.Network Support: Physical installation and patching of Cisco Switches, routers and telecoms devices under supervision of the Network team;Responsibility for Wireless Networking under supervision of the Network team.Hardware Support: Install computer, server and networking hardware;Troubleshoot and replace computers, laptops, components, network and standalone printers, scanners, IP cameras, fixed phones and smartphones.Operational Management:Assist in the budget process and manage contracts and negotiations with local vendors;Oversee contractor’s installation and maintenance of computer hardware during office moves;Advise users on relevant hardware and software usage;Provide support to the banks Independent Asset Managers in the region;Provide VIP on-call duty one weekend out of four.Maintain and update local procedure documentation;Oversee software and hardware inventory control and maintain accurate inventories of IT equipment;Participate in the implementation & deployment of group projects;Participate in the Business Continuity Plan and be a point of contact in case of BCP invocation.YOUR PROFILE:Completed an apprenticeship, Bachelor’s degree is advantageous;At least 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar function;Excellent knowledge in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Dell and HP computers running Windows 10;Basic knowledge of Cisco IP Phones and videoconferencing;Good knowledge in AD, DNS, DHCP;Good knowledge of Microsoft based infrastructures;Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 and above;Basic knowledge of Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft App-V, SCCM;Basic knowledge of Bloomberg, FactSet;Good knowledge of Apple and Android mobile devices;High level of initiative and commitment with a “hands-on” approach to get things done and solve issues;Strong organisation skills, ability to handle pressure and to work independently as well as a good team player;Excellent customer service and communication skills;Willingness to travel within Switzerland and EMEA;Languages - Fluent in French and English;Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.If you recognise yourself in this description, then please do apply.
